Reduce Stress and Overwhelm with Somatic Healing

Trying to appear calm on the outside when inside you feel anything but?

It must be exhausting.

I help people who are struggling with overthinking, anxiety, and trauma address root causes, understand their unique responses, and rediscover balance and confidence.

Let’s find a better way forward, together.

Does this sound like you?

You’re overrun by worry and anxiety

You feel inadequate or like you’re too much for the people in your life

Feeling relaxed can feel impossible, and no matter what you do, you either feel overwhelmed with emotion or find ways to numb out to feel nothing.

You want to reach out or find support but the need to ask for help is overwhelmed by a fear of rejection.

You’re trying to cope with a traumatic event but are overwhelmed

You don’t want to be defined by the event but are struggling to manage feelings that feel trapped and leave you in survival mode 24/7.

I’m Allison Stewart

I can help guide you through difficult emotions and get you back to living the life you deserve.

I take a holistic, body-centered approach to support your healing by using Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and processing emotions and past trauma. Together, we’ll work to build your capacity for feeling difficult emotions, untangle big feelings from your body’s responses, and help make sure that the calm you’re trying to project on the outside is truly felt on the inside.

Specialties

  • Our bodies and our emotions are strongly linked, and processing difficult emotions through traditional talk therapy isn’t always enough. I use somatic therapy to help my clients tune in to their body responses to release, recover and recalibrate their body’s response to trauma.
